FOUNDER'S MESSAGE
"Coming from a region shaped by rugged terrains and natural beauty, I have personally experienced the profound impacts of climate change—psychologically, economically, and physically. Witnessing these challenges ignited a resolve within me to stand against this crisis, even if it meant standing alone. Today, I am no longer alone. I am joined by a dedicated team, all united with a shared purpose: to make the world a safer, more resilient place. Together, we are committed to taking meaningful steps to protect our environment and empower communities to rise against climate change."
Climate change stands as the single greatest challenge and disaster confronting our world today. From unpredictable weather patterns to devastating natural catastrophes, the impacts of climate change are felt deeply across communities, particularly in vulnerable areas like our mountainous regions. It is no longer just an environmental issue; it’s a humanitarian crisis that demands urgent attention and action. The youth hold the power to drive this change, and their energy, resilience, and commitment are key to building a sustainable future. At Eco Pahadi, we believe it is time for young leaders to rise, take responsibility, and be the voice that urges society to protect our planet.
Eco Pahadi has taken significant steps to address these challenges on the ground. We have successfully trained over 10,000 community volunteers, empowering them with the skills to respond to and mitigate the impacts of disasters linked to climate change. In addition, we’ve reached more than 50,000 community members with awareness campaigns, equipping them with the knowledge to understand the gravity of climate change and build resilience. Through workshops, training programs, and community drives, we aim to foster an informed and prepared society that can come together to combat climate change. Each action taken, every volunteer trained, and every awareness program conducted brings us closer to the sustainable, resilient world we envision.
