From a Small Step to a Movement for Change

It all began in 2022, when Sudesh Bedi with three friends decided to turn their shared passion for nature and community resilience into action. With limited resources but unlimited determination, Eco Pahadi was born in the heart of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

What started as a simple idea, to empower communities to coexist harmoniously with nature and prepare for disasters, has grown into a movement that spans across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Chandigarh.

A Vision Rooted in Resilience

Guided by the motto, "Harmony with Nature, Resilience for Tomorrow," Eco Pahadi has:

  • Trained over 10,000 community members in disaster preparedness and sustainable living.
  • Empowered more than 50,000 individuals to take charge of their communities.
  • Spearheaded climate awareness drives, eco-friendly initiatives and disaster management programs to create lasting change.

Imagine the Possibilities

Eco Pahadi began with just a handful of people who believed that small actions could lead to big transformations. Today, we are proof that when passion meets purpose, extraordinary things happen.

Imagine what we could achieve together, if every individual committed to making even the smallest effort toward a sustainable and resilient future. Because every act of care, no matter how small, can spark a wave of change.

Join us in building a world where communities thrive in harmony with nature and resilience becomes a way of life.
